The Portal series picks up where I left off with my Big Bang series in 2009, where I explored the power of exuberance at a moment when everything was set into motion. Based on geometry found in nature, these pieces begin with an emanating energy that beckon the viewer in. For me they connote passage from one state to another, an invitation into an unknown state.
